An Immunological Argument for One Health

چکیده
Human exposure to heavy metals is associated with higher rates of immunological deficiencies, autoimmunity, and cancer. Chronic lead contributes abnormalities in immunomodulation while cadmium linked breast, prostate, lung cancers. Prenatal these impacts both the development function immune cells. The concept one health underscores importance interface between human, animal, environmental health. Herein, we highlight metal via honey consumption as an example critical intersection factors they relate downstream pathologies.

One long argument

The evolutionary biologist, acclaimed as one of the most prolific researchers, has no intention of retiring and is shortly to publish new research that dismantles the fashionable creationist doctrine of 'intelligent design'. متن کاملOne Very Long Argument
The distribution of organisms in morphologic space is clumpy. Cats are like felids, dogs are like canids and snails are (mostly) like gastropods. But cats are not like dogs and snails are not like clams. This clumpy distribution of morphology has long posed one of the greatest challenges to evolutionary biologists. Does it represent the extinction and disappearance of a once-continuous distribu...

متن کاملOptimizing existing health systems: an argument for integrating functioning information
Background Health systems are being challenged, in meeting the needs of growing numbers of people living with chronic health conditions, where cure of the disease is not the primary outcome of care but rather maintaining or improving functioning over a person’s life span. Functioning is an umbrella term; it encompasses body structures and body functions, as well as people’s capacity and actual ...
